A+ Educational Consulting provides a full range of educational choices, options and solutions for parents, children, young adults and anyone wanting a change in career.
Our goal is to provide options for our clients to optimize their potential for success!
Meetings, phone calls and e-mails are unlimited the following is a general overview.
University/College:
An in depth meeting with the student and or parents to share information and review school records, test scores, extracurricular activities, volunteer work, resume, career goals etc. is scheduled. From there we will start to develop a clear picture of individual strengths, including academics and personality.
- Assessments, such as Myer Briggs and other testing tools may be used.
- We will recommend schools that match the student’s educational, social and personal needs. When we’ve selected the schools that meet the needs and criteria a list is given to the student and parents to review.
- After the student and or parents have reviewed the list and a short list has be decided upon we will start the application process.
- We will provide assistance with the application and essay process.
- Guidance on obtaining the best possible reference letters.
- Brainstorming the best possible essay topics.
- Anything and everything else to help you to be successful with your future educational endeavor.
Boarding and Private Schools:
Our boarding and private school process is similar to the University/College placement but is geared more for the younger child with more involvement with the parents. Parent and student expectations are explored in depth. A school tour with the child and family will be scheduled if possible.
Career Planning:
We do extensive career and vocation planning with my students and adult learners to help them find and prepare for a job that will match their passions and desired lifestyle. Not everyone is cut out for University/College, there are over 200 trades available. We will help pin point your passion with an educational and career plan that can meet with success in today’s difficult job market. Myer Briggs and other testing tools may be used.
International Student Placement:
We have helped over 100 International students with all aspects of the application process. Students we have helped have come from all over the world including China, Germany, Vietnam, India and Turkey. We will help you find the right school that will meet your current and future education goals whether it is University/College, Boarding or Private Schools. Whether a student wishes to improve their ability to speak English (ESL) learn to thrive in a new and different culture, or gain unique education, athletic or artistic experiences, we can help find the right fit. We keep current with today’s immigration and school requirements for International admissions.
Payment Options:
We will be happy to customize my servicing plans based on your individual needs. Our servicing and payment options include:
- Comprehensive Packages: For a set fee, we offer my services. That means that there is no limit to the number, phone calls, questions you can ask, etc. throughout the process.
- Hourly: We also offer all of our services on an à la carte, hourly basis.
