Hello, my name is Gloria Baudry and I’m an independent educational consultant. I provide individual assistance to students and their families with educational planning. I started A + Educational Consulting to facilitate and counsel students and families on choosing the appropriate school, that is a good personal match. Prior to becoming an independent educational consultant I worked as a student advisor at a Canadian fully accredited, internationally recognized University. I have been counselling and working with students for over 20 years and have gained invaluable experience. My particular strengths are in the admissions process and career planning. My strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills that I have attained through my education in Human Resource Management (HRM) and work experience are ideal as an educational consultant.

NACAC LogoI try to visit most schools before I make my recommendations, for first hand knowledge and building contacts within the admissions community in order to stay current with admission trends. To provide the best possible service to students and families, I also attend national and regional seminars and conferences on educational planning and development. I also belong to an advising network that keeps me informed and up to date. I’m a member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC). I have attended the Independent Educational Consulting Association (IECA) conferences and summer training institute. I also have numerous professional development courses, and workshops on advising, communication and counseling.
